As a guitarist, Bruce Ferrara has been influenced by several of the great horn players; John Coltrane, Miles Davis, and Wayne Shorter, as well as expressive guitarists John McLaughlin, Pat Metheny, and Jimi Hendrix. His playing is characterized by an electric, vocal-like, percussive openness. |
